It is surely the best place in Istanbul to try various types of Baklava & Börek. Though very expensive but its worth it. Nice sitting inside & along the road. A little crowded in evening hours but thats owing to the great taste they offer. Loved the taste & atmosphere around. I keep visiting it often coz of its delicious delights.

One of the most famous restaurants in Istanbul has one branch in the Krakow district. It is always crowded because of its popularity among the people of the town, its taste is great but I find it fairly expensive. In the opinion there are better restaurants than him

The sheer amount of people that come here for baklava is a sure sign that this place is one of the best in Istanbul and it definitely is. The baklava here is some of the best I've tasted and with some varieties I've never tried before. It's a great place to go and buy gifts for friends and family back home too, as they have various size boxes for you to fill up with your preferred baklava. The baklava here is priced by weight and not individual pieces, but still very cheap! You can get takeaway or eat in but it is pretty hectic from midday until the evening, so if your not a fan of crowds I would avoid the peak hours as getting the staff's attention and time can be a bit of a competition. But saying that, the staff speak a good level of English and will give you samples to try to help you decide. If doing a takeaway, after your baklava has been boxed up, the staff will give you a cashier order ticket to then go and pay for it at the till before they hand it over to you. If eating in, you'll probably be sharing and fighting for space on tables with others. But really good vibe and atmosphere in this place, the staff deal with the customers in swarms and in good time so you're not waiting too long.
