This place is delicious. Such a sweet and savory bowl of oh my goodness. Khao Soi with a side of fried shrimp which is like they scooped some plankton straight out of the sea and fried the whole lot of em and the fried pumpkin is like the best sweet potato fries you ever had. I hit up the Khao Soi bang-bang with Khao Soi Samerjai up the street. You should do the same.

I only have one thing to say on this review, make sure you order the fried pumpkin it blew my mind! The combination of the oil and sweet chili sauce is magical, this is what living is all about! I also tried the local northern noodles here which comes with congealed pork blood so stay away if you’re out off by that. Plenty of other Khao soi dishes for you to order if you’re less adventurous! #BeatTheGrind

Another one of the older and better Khao Soi restaurants in Chiang Mai. First time I ate at this restaurant was close to 40 years ago and it still as good as ever - one bowl is never enough. The Northern Thai side dishes are also exceptional, I really like the deep fried small shrimp.

Nice local foods, Khao Soy and others. English can be problem here and prepared for it. Using the menu pictures from Google can be helpful. Most staffs are friendly and helpful but some treat outsiders unfair. But I guess it is not intentional. Still you can't miss this place if you want to try good Khao Soy.
