This place is like a food court, plenty of seating with an extensive menu. I ordered the traditional Thai sausage and hung lay, both dishes were exceptional particularly with some sticky rice to mop up the gravy. The Thai sausage wasn’t overly spicy and add some cabbage and basil to it and it’s delightful. I’d never experienced a flavor like this hung lay here, I can’t even describe it, it’s amazing but like none of the pervious versions I’ve had!

Khao Soi Samerjai is one of the restaurants (actually a food shop) that has to be visited while in Chiang Mai. Some people say this is the best Khao Soi restaurant in Chiang Mai but I don't really agree with that. What I think is that it makes very good versions, of almost all the different foods you can find in Northern Thailand, and at a very reasonable price. The photos I am including are actually of Bamee-Nam Moo (yellow egg noodles with minced pork), which can be a really great dish when you are in the mood for it. As a side dish I was having some fried young shrimp (in the shell) and a bottle of ice cold Singha Beer. On a hot day that was just the right combination of food and drink for me.

I like the taste of KhoaSoi even beef was only 2-3 pieces. There are other local foods such as Northern sausage, Crispy pork skin.

One of the best places I ate at in Chiang Mai. I met the original owner whose worked everyday for 34yrs. I enjoyed Khao soi with chicken and also had a bowl of pork khao soi spicy coconut egg noodle dish absolutely D’licious! Pork satay w/peanut sauce & the spring rolls were filled with veggies, pork and shrimp. Enjoy because I did very much!????????????
