Great environment, Nun came out and spoke with his customers in between making meals. Not the best place to come if you’re hungry as the meals take quite awhile to prepare so you know it’s high quality and freshly prepared. Quite a small and intimate venue, they have a white restaurant dog called Focus who is adorable. A little bit more expensive than most places but I think it’s worth it with the average meal around 80 baht.

I've had dreams of this place for the past year since I visited. It is hands down the best restaurant I've been to in the entire country. Nun is a one stop shop (owner, server, chef) who turns out the most exquisite dishes I've tasted! Bursting with flavor and beautiful preparation! Here I am, back for my second year and it's probably only gotten better! Prices are extremely reasonable for all dishes (ranges between 40-80bhat) Personal favorites here: green curry, papaya salad & khao soi gai! I've ordered the entire menu throughout my visits here and you really can't go wrong with anything. You will be doing yourself a disservice if you do not stop by and try out at least one dish. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Heads up- restaurant is closed on Sunday. Thanks Nun!

Owned and operated by one solitary chef, Nun's Restaurant is a hidden gem. Nun is very friendly and speaks good english, so there is unlikely to be any misunderstandings with your order. The minced pork and thai basil was absolutely delicious - however, I'm glad I asked for it less spicy, because the amount of chili in the photo would have taken my head off! My companions also enjoyed the ample vegetarian options. The decor is modest and feels as if you're being invited into someone's home. There's no air con, but there are two rotating fans. I imagine you'd have to wait a while if it's busy, given Nun does everything himself - including blending an excellent fruit juice slushie. Now - to return and try the fish cakes!

The best authentic Thai food! It is a must to try the Khao Soi, Tom yum goong and Mango sticky rice! It was worth the wait:)

Excellent authentic food lovingly and expertly prepared using the freshest ingredients. A small 6 table, "hole in the wall" place located in Soi 5 alley. The best food I experienced in Thailand. Friendly fast service. Large portions. Very reasonable prices.
