Wow this crispy pork comes with the biggest bowl of dipping sauce I’ve ever seen! I ordered the large crispy pork with rice for 80 baht, there’s no issue with running out of sauce like with a lot of places, you’ll finish with a surplus! I walked into the place with a haze of smoke from the grilling, very authentic place full of locals. Gets super busy at lunch time so get in before midday to get a seat or alternatively get some takeaway.

Email us a video of this fine place and you will have much luck in the future.

Was taken here by a friend of mine who grew up in Chiang Mai. This is were locals eat if you are within the Old City and want crispy pork. Ordered a few dishes and was definitely not disappointed. If you didn't know it was there you'd blink and miss it. This is not a guidebook mainstream touristy place. This is where if you grew up in Chiang Mai and happen to be in the Old City you go for real, authentic crispy pork dishes and soups. If you want a real taste of Chiang Mai from a restaurant who's probably been doing it for generations, this is where you go.

This restaurant only has two dishes: crispy pork and rolled noodles. I haven't made it past the crispy pork yet, because it is so good. The staff don't speak a lot of English, but it is easy enough to get by. Get the crispy pork with rice. It comes with a killer soup and iced tea. The cost is 80 baht when I'm writing this.

This is a must have if you are in Chiangmai next to Khao Soi, Nam Prik Moon, and various night markets around town. The menu only offer two choices: Crispy Pork with Rice in Tamarin Sauce or Beef Tribe Noodle with a couple slices of Crispy Pork. I came here by myself but I want to try both. The most optimal way to do is to get the Noodle Soup and a side of just crispy pork. The noodle soup is extremely flavor, but a bit toward the salty side, which I didn't mind. The beef tripes tasted fresh and tender while the noodles complemented the soup well. The Crispy Pork is excellent as well, very crispy on the outside and not too fatty. Smothered in the sauce, this cannot go wrong. As they are only open for lunch, make sure you get your timing right. These two recipes are tried and tested for generations. Please make your way here if you are in anywhere near CNX.
