Visit Baan Kang Wat, sip a coffee in the shade and bear witness to the steady stream of people all thinking 'oh, this is lovely... oh this is all there is', then just as quickly leaving. This is a peaceful spot but very tiny. Don't expect much food or entertainment for longer than 30mins. Maybe a pancake and a sit down. We came especially from Chiang Mai because it sounded like an arty/homely utopia. It isn't. It's cute but certainly not worth coming out of your way for; perhaps swing by for an ice cream if you're in the neighbourhood, and watch Japanese tourists grab a selfie in the amphitheatre then scamper off baffled.

Quiet, lovely, and relaxing place for those who needs some quality time to enjoy a simple coffee or tea, or even a homemade dessert. This place is suitable for those who loves craft, simple living stuffs, and inspirational handmade product. However, don't expect to have a full meal here, and there are not many interesting activities offered. But it is great to see a community like this in Thailand - so keep it up!

Interesting area filled with artsy and creative shops that sell coffee, ice cream and crafty items like jewelry and watercolor paintings. It's pretty relaxing to walk around but like others have said, it's quite small and out of the way. I spent at most 30 minutes here window browsing the different shops. If do make the trip here, I highly recommend checking out the temple nearby as well as have lunch/dinner at the nearby outdoor restaurant. Lab Lung Noi is a very popular local restaurant that features authentic Northern cuisine.

Small quiet place that looks as if it's straight out of a movie. You can walk around a bit, enjoy a drink and eat something. The artists here also sell some lovely handicraft.
