Great place to work with friendly staff After being for 8 month in Chiang Mai I learned to appreciate a few places for their atmosphere, for quiet work, fast Wi-Fi and some timeless escape. The Tom n Toms definitely has its sides and yes the toilets are randomly out of service and the power outlets on the ground floor are mostly dead. BUT, the staff comes with extension cords to wire you up even without asking and the toilets of the hotel behind are great. If you live here you’ll have AIS Wi-Fi with your phone plan. At TnT the AIS speed is outrageous, nearly 400 Mbs download. The place is airy and has nice sunny or protected corners downstairs and upstairs. I like the coffee and I like that they give you an Starbucks sized venti bucket instead of all the little cups in the cafes around. Compared to the CAMP workspace in Maya, just opposite the road where the Wi-Fi gets hammered by 100+ Thai students, the coffee really sucks and the permanent walking in and out is disturbing, here you feel like a human being getting some work done.

The green tea red bean cake is to die for.. love the location, environment and the things they offer. Free Wi-Fi as well

Atrocious WiFi. Impossible to use this place to work unless you’re able to tether. Seemed to be having issues with the A/C upstairs or switch it off at night. They should be able to afford it as the coffee is really expensive albeit okay. The pretzel was also fresh and tasty.

No toilet paper in either bathroom. Dirty toilets, upstairs no aircon. Expensive pricing.

Overpriced but a nice place to work. If you just want to use your laptop, I’d recommend signing up for AIS smart WiFi access instead of using the 3 hour limit you’ll receive with a purchase. It’s cheaper, unlimited and WAY faster. I tested the internet connection here and download speeds are 3.7 mbps while AIS smart login is around 120. Other than that, the seats are comfortable and outlets are EVERYWHERE — which is really nice.
