Market in central Adelaide. I fantastic array of stalls with fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. It also has an amazing selection of food to take away or eat there. This is frequented by both locals and visitors alike. If you are ever in Adelaide this place is a must visit.

An iconic place in Adelaide, South Australia. Great atmosphere. Vibrant. Great range of stalls - fruit, veg, produce, flowers, bread, cheese and nuts, crafts... a must visit place. To buy or just browse and wander, it is worth the visit. Centrally located. Close to tram, bus stops and car parks.

I think the size is perfect for a market, it’s not too large but large enough to have a good variety. All under cover definitely helps and when the weathers bad, it’s closed in so you won’t get blown away. Some stalls change hands so it’s interesting seeing what pops up next as some stalls are extremely beautiful and art put into the business while others just very functional. Take Advantage of the free parking if you don’t stay too long. Your initial visit though, grab a coffee and take your time. It’s mostly fruit and veg stalls but you do get a range of bakeries, meat, cheese and other stalls.

Great produce, specialty foods and cafes. Love the Central Markets. With Chinatown and Gouger Street alongside it is a foodies dream. Full of atmosphere.

I had a breakfast at Comida cafe in the central market. Comics means 'to eat' in Spanish. The coffee was the exact taste of Spain and the Jamon was real... I loved it. I forgot taking photo because I had to concentrate on the taste. I will put up the photos when I visit there next time.
